The Unveiling ceremony of NUIST - Jiangbei Public Utilities Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration Base was successfully held in Nanjing. Both parties will establish a strategic cooperation mechanism for "production, study, research, and application" to fully leverage complementary advantages and share resources. Fan Huiqian, general manager of Yangzi Investment; Wei Zhongping, vice president of NUIST; Gu Yuangang, director of the Water Conservation and Water Environment Department of Jiangbei New Area; Fan Kefei, chairman and general manager of Jiangbei Public Utilities; as well as leaders and personnel from Yangzi Investment, NUIST, the Delta Water Institute, and Jiangbei Public Utilities attended the event. Fan Huiqian and Wei Zhongping respectively unveiled the plaques for Jiangbei Public Utilities and NUIST.

Jiangbei Public Utilities is the investment and development platform for public utilities in Jiangbei New Area, responsible for water supply and drainage treatment, water conservancy integration, smartization of public utilities, energy and transportation construction and operation. This cooperation with NUIST is the second partnership between Jiangbei New Area and NUISTU since signing the comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement on December 29, 2018. It can be considered as a "closer bond" than before.
