Smart Water System Model |
Under the leadership of academician Wang Ronghe, a renowned expert in water supply and drainage modeling and former professor at Tsinghua University and research director at Bentley Systems in the United States, the Jiangsu Province Yangtze River Delta Smart Water Research Institute has independently developed world-class water supply and drainage modeling software ("HeHe Water Supply" and "HeHe Drainage") and application platform software. These software tools have been instrumental in establishing mathematical models to provide forecasts and warnings for flood prediction, flood control and disaster reduction, and pollution control.
Based on the "HeHe" water supply and drainage modeling software, DWI has introduced practical application software such as the Flood Risk Map Management and Application System, Short-term Forecast and Urban Waterlogging Warning System, and Drainage Network Pumping Station Joint Operation Simulation System. These applications have significantly enhanced the institute's ability to manage water resources, mitigate flood risks, and improve drainage system operations.
